Next, we’ll enter the private Arenal Volcano Ecological Park, following trails that pass by a beautiful volcanic lake and its surrounding natural scenery. As we ride deeper into the park, you’ll be immersed in the lush tropical rainforest of Arenal, approaching the historic lava flows from past eruptions. A short 5-minute break along the way allows time to relax, take photos, and appreciate the environment.

The horseback tour continues until we reach a point where we dismount for a brief 10-minute hike along a rocky path, leading to an ancient lava flow. Here, you can capture incredible photos, record videos, and learn about the fascinating history of the 1968 and 2010 volcanic eruptions.
